The PetSafe Staywell Microchip cat flap has advanced selective entry technology which allows your cat easy access to outside world keeping neighbouring cats or unwanted wildlife from entering your home. Using radio frequency identification RFID technology the PetSafe Staywell Microchip cat flap works by reading your cat or kittens unique microchip ID without the need for a collar or accessory. When your cat approaches the cat flap this will respond by allowing only your cat to enter and will remain locked and deny access to cats that are not programmed. This microchip cat flap is also designed with manual 4-Way locking keeping you in control. The PetSafe Staywell Microchip cat flap reads the most common type of microchip implanted in cats FDX-B 15-digit. Please note: a tunnel extension(s) may need to be fitted into thicker doors metal doors or walls and an installation adaptor for double glass and wall installations.
